My bad date experience + Fashion tips

Hi babes and guys welcome to my worst date experience. The story goes thus...

I met this guy on twitter and we started talking. We spoke for about a week until we decided to see at restaurant on a date. We picked Circa lagos , I have never been there. I started planning my outfit and checking my wardrobe for what to wear but I had nothing, this was the period I wasn't buying clothes, shoes, make up or any beauty products .So I quickly thrifted with Snatcheddealsthrift on Instagram. I got a red patterned velvet slip dress for the cost of N2500 only. I was on a curly fringe wig already. Lucky me at least I had something made on my head that gave me a Donna Summer  look.

Fashion Tip : Before you go out on a date, look up the place online, check the ambiance, food, interior and exterior so you can dress accordingly.

Circa Lagos

Fashion Tip: if you do not have an extravagant dinner dress, a slip dress will always be perfect no matter the body type.

To compliment my knee-length slip dress that exposed my collar bones , I wore a pair of black block heels and a black side bag to match.

I had not gotten  a make up set then but I had foundation, powder and eye shadow. I worked with that. My golden eyeshadow served as my highlighter or bronzer. My lips were hot red but glossy this time.

Fashion tip : Your gold or bronze eye shadow can serve as your bronzer or highlighter. Try it and thank me later .

I got to the Resturant an hour late because I didn't get a cab in time, they kept cancelling on me. I got to the restaurant and my date was not there. Or had he left? I called him a few times and he eventually appeared. I apologised for my late arrival and he complained that I should have told him I will be running late. I didn't know, it was the cabs that kept canceling. We got talking and I ordered a punch and burger.

We Kept talking and my date found a way to spoil the mood by continuously complaining that I was late. It's fine I get it okay? I'm sorry I was late but he kept bringing it up at the slightest chance he got. His countenance changed. I kept explaining why I was late but noooooo he kept going on and on. He said he was ready to go home just an hour into the date, but I was still eating! As soon as I was done with my food, we left but I asked him to take some pictures of me while we wait for my cab and he took blurry pictures. I'll show you. I Dont know if it was on purpose or he just didn't care you know.

I felt I wasted my time that fateful day and I should have just sat at home. Hope you caught the fashion tips?
