How to achieve a simple elegant look

Looking elegant is one thing I hold in high esteem.  From the way I hold my cup, to the way I cross my legs, down to the way I talk and my gestures while talking . I live for elegance . I’m siping a glass of red wine blogging this and I feel as elegant as possible with my legs crossed to the left, my shoulders broad and my head up high . Like I said I love elegance . 

Red and black are my favorite colors when it comes to elegance , acting like a prim and proper lady . I like my nails red or white and my hair either packed to the back or tied up high in a bun . I like my makeup simple and my earrings not too bogus but at the same time noticeable.

I like my heels slim , classy and simple. My lips are either devil red or nude with a little touch of lip gloss .

If I had a dinner date with a guy I like or just met , I will wear a black thigh high slit long dress with my hair packed into a bun and a tiny shiny ear ring . Don’t forget my cheek bones will be highlighted and properly concealed .

Today, I will tell you how I look elegant on a budget. So because of how simple and elegant the look is, don’t forget it has to be classy. If I don’t find something affordable to get around, I make these dresses myself most times, and getting materials and an affordable tailor is less expensive than a ready-made dress. I get my materials from a vendor on Instagram Looks_bylucollections. They are a new brand but have never disappointed me. It’s so funny because I make my clothes in a day or two and that’s why I don’t encourage impromptu outings. I’ll rather stay home than look trashy outside. I have tailors that will sew within a day or two notice for me ... you should get one of those too. 

For the occasion, I will go in a black slim-fit long dress with a tiny strap which will cost me less than 4000 naira for 3yards of crepe and 2000naira to sew which is 6000 naira. To buy the same dress in a boutique will cost 3 times the price if not more. I will accessorize with a tiny shiny chain, accompanied with tiny earrings and a clutch bag of any color with shiny designs preferably. This alone has put out the elegance I want. Elegant ladies know how to apply simplicity and beauty in one outfit.

Just do the simple things most elegantly, I.e the way you carry yourself and the way you present yourself. Think of yourself as THE QUEEN, not a Queen
